Take a drive up the infamous Porlock Hill into Exmoor for a picnic lunch looking out over breathtaking scenery or visit the West Somerset Steam Railway in Minehead for a trip back in time.
Visit the historic Dunster Castle and Dunster Village. There is lots to see and do for all ages at this great National Trust site; leave a whole day aside to see it all properly!
If you have followed in the steps of Coleridge from Nether Stowey to Porlock, along the Coleridge way, then Rosebank House is the perfect destination for you in Porlock. Alternatively if you are following the South West Coastal Path RoseBank House will make an ideal resting place en route.
There are plenty of well-marked footpaths around Porlock that explore our beautiful vale, down to Porlock Weir and along the sea marshes with its ever growing population of wildlife.
